My NEET Journey

Hey, I’m Prisha, a two-time NEET aspirant who learned that not all journeys end in a rank, but every journey teaches something. If you're tired of hearing only topper stories, this post is for you. ❔ How I Discovered NEET? I didn’t grow up dreaming of AIIMS or scribbling NEET ranks in my diary.  The first time I ever even heard  the word was in 7th grade when my sibling was transitioning from class 10 to 11. Even then, it was just a word floating around the house, I had no idea what it really meant or how intense it would be. It was only after watching my sibling go through two tough years of preparation that I started to understand the pressure and expectations that came with it. It wasn’t just another exam. It was a full-blown identity crisis in MCQ format. ❔ How I Found Myself On The NEET Path (without even realizing it)? Then came my own turn, the class 11 stream selection. To be very honest, I chose PCB not because I had a clear vision of becoming a doctor, but...

26 Ways To Sabotage Your NEET'26 ( PART 1 )

Part 1 of 26 mistakes I made while trying to ace NEET (half of them felt normal at the time. That's the scary part.)    If you're preparing for NEET 2026 and think you're doing everything right,  think again . Because sometimes, your biggest enemy isn’t Physics… it’s  you.   1. Giving Priority To School   Most aspirants are school-going and end up prioritizing project work, assignments, unit tests, final exams and practical files. Been there, done that.  Did it help my NEET preparation? Not really,  the first thing I learned was to give only the required amount of priority to school work and exams. It's okay to score low in subjective school exams, your real focus should be on mock tests and coaching assessments. But does that mean you should ignore school completely ? No ...  now that NEET includes practical-based questions, pay full attention in practical classes. I personally benefited a lot in salt analysis and titration ...

Sleep Paralysis - When Your Brain Wakes Up But Your Body Doesn’t Ever woken up and felt like you're completely awake but can’t move even a muscle? Like your eyes open, but your whole body is frozen in place? Or there's this weird pressure on your chest or a dark figure standing in the corner of your room? That’s sleep paralysis . I remember the first time it happened to me... One afternoon, I was sleeping at home alone. All the lights were off, except for the natural light sneaking in through the window curtains. Suddenly, my eyes opened. I was awake (that was what I thought). I heard someone calling my name. As I looked toward the door, I saw a dark figure standing just outside, pointing at me with long red nails, as if telling me to come to the other room. I wanted to move, I wanted to shut my eyes... but I couldn’t. I was paralysed.  I was lying there, completely frozen, unable to move even a single muscle. In my mind, I thought I was screaming my lungs out, but in realit...
